Nourish Nosh Long Table

Let’s gather together, walk the grounds of Farm My School of Bellarine Secondary College, learn more about this space and then settle in for a communal dining experience whilst reflecting and rejoicing the Nourish workshop series.

“Nourish was introduced to share the good that we are doing at Farm My School with local families and individuals and arm them with simple tools, recipes and practical ways to nurture themselves, their garden and their family,” says CEO and founder of Farm My School, James McLennan.

“It’s clear we are achieving that, and more. The results and feedback have been nothing but positive, and it has encouraged us to continue with the workshops throughout 2025.

“We’ve welcomed people of all ages and abilities to attend, from eager eight-year-olds to seasoned 80-year-olds. It's been a joy to witness the intergenerational conversations and new connections. Nourish Nosh Long Table is in place to bring everyone together to celebrate its success.”

Michael Jaques, Executive Chef from Tarra Queenscliff will be returning to host the long table with support from Matt Germanchis, Executive Chef from Totti’s Lorne and Jo Barrett from Wildpie and The Age Good Food’s Guide 2024 ‘Chef of the Year’. Thanks to Patrick Meaney from Farm to Ferment there will also be a Bacteria Bar.

From farm to table, Mike will curate and craft a healthy and nourishing three-course meal showcasing freshly harvested, seasonal and organically-grown produce sourced from Farm My School, as well as local farmers, growers and producers.

Nourish Nosh Long Table will commence with an Acknowledgement to Country, then onto a guided sunset tour of the farm whilst enjoying the first course. Guests will then be seated to relish a thoughtfully prepared meal and experience.

Representatives from our partners and key stakeholders will discuss their involvement with Farm My School and the Nourish workshop series.

This is an all-inclusive, alcohol-free event with first round invitations to past participants, and then open to the public.

There will also be a raffle on the night with proceeds from this event and raffle going to support Farm My School.
