🌱 What does community-connected learning really look like?
Educators and community members gathered at Farm My School Colac for an inspiring day exploring how schools, farms and communities can work together to create meaningful learning experiences.
Students led a farm tour to share firsthand how Farm My School is transforming education through hands-on learning and connection.
Mike Robinson-Koss from Otway Greening facilitated a session exploring how endemic plants can be a catalyst for community engagement, biodiversity and environmental learning within schools and local communities.
Farm My School CEO and co-founder, James McLennan, then hosted a Curriculum to Community workshop to demonstrate how school gardens can strengthen school-community connections and create real-world impact beyond the classroom.
Gardens are more than gardens.
Farms are more than farms.
They are places for conversation, passing on knowledge and connecting people.
The day also created space for networking, collaboration and big-picture thinking!
