The farm is powered by people coming together with a shared purpose.
Farm My School exists to reconnect people to food, to education, and to each other. That can’t be achieved by one person or even one team – it requires a community. It requires people willing to show up, to learn, to contribute and to support something beyond themselves.
The impact of that collective effort is tangible. It’s in the veggie boxes that head out each week, filled with seasonal, locally grown produce. It’s in the students who begin to understand where their food comes from. It’s in the conversations that continue long after the day’s work is done.
It's visible in small moments from working side by side to mentoring a trainee to laughter across the beds to inclusive online team meetings. It is felt in the bigger picture – food grown, knowledge shared and community strengthened!
It takes a village and when people work together like this – something bigger grows.
